The 6th African Philanthropy Conference invites innovative changemakers, local traders, and sector-shaping institutions to exhibit at this year’s convening in Cairo. We are calling on individuals, organisations, and collectives whose work reflects the spirit of community-led, sustainable, and decolonized financing solutions for Africa and the Majority World.
This is your chance to connect with a dynamic, pan-African network of delegates representing civil society, academia, philanthropy, policy, and social innovation.

Exhibition Dates:
Wednesday 30 July and Thursday 31 July 2025
Exhibitors will be provided with:
- A trestle table
- Black tablecloth
- Two chairs
- Access to a power plug point
Technical extras such as screens or stands must be arranged directly with the venue and will be at the exhibitor’s cost.

- Financing the Future
– Showcase financing mechanisms, models, or platforms that champion African-led development, economic justice, or climate-responsive philanthropy. - Community-Centred Innovation
– Local initiatives that put people, dignity, and place first—spotlighting lived solutions from grassroots to grassroots. - Philanthropy in Action
– Institutions, networks, or researchers offering data, tools, and case studies that reframe philanthropy as a vehicle for self-determination. - Art & Culture for Change
– Creative expressions (visual, performance, multimedia) that reflect African values, storytelling, and visions for a decolonized future.
Selection Criteria:
Exhibits must:
- Reflect the conference theme: Sustainable Financing for Development in the Majority World
- Showcase African-led, context-sensitive, and inclusive approaches to philanthropy, funding, or development
- Prioritize innovation, community agency, or Indigenous knowledge systems
- Offer engaging, interactive content for delegates—e.g. demos, storytelling, media, or participatory formats
- Represent a commitment to sustainability, diversity, and equity
- Comply with all safety and logistical requirements
Application & Evaluation Process:
Submit a written proposal outlining:
- Your organisation/project
- Relevance to the conference theme
- Display content and design (with visuals or mock-ups)
- Setup needs and interactivity plans
- An internal selection committee will assess proposals based on alignment with APC values and diversity of representation.
- Shortlisted exhibitors may be contacted for additional information.
- Final selection will be confirmed via email with setup instructions and guidelines.
