Dr. Laila Iskander is a prominent figure in Egypt’s development landscape and has served as Minister of State for Urban Renewal and Informal Settlements in Egypt. She has worked with governmental and international agencies as well as with the private sector in the fields of gender, education and development, environment, child labour and governance. She also serves on the boards of several foundations and NGOs, and has been deeply involved in initiatives related to community development, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
