The African Philanthropy Conference is a collaborative platform which aims to create and curate a progressive agenda for philanthropy and social investment on the continent. Hosted as an annual convening, the conference has consistently grown attracting institutions and stakeholders such as practitioners, grassroots movements, academics, policy makers and donors.

Delegates interact through keynote addresses, plenary sessions, parallel dialogues and networking opportunities, which invite active participation, contribution and collaboration which will enrich individual and collective experiences for all.

        For Academics

The academic dimension attracts scholars, practitioners and thought leaders to exchange groundbreaking research, valuable insights, and participate in discussions that contribute to the body of knowledge on the sector.

The first two days of the conference are dedicated to the academic dimension. Delegates will hear presentations on emerging research and participate in debate that will inform and strengthen the findings.

        For Practitioners

The main conference is dedicated to exploring the intricate and diverse challenges that philanthropy faces in Africa. With a strong commitment to fostering a brighter future for the continent, the outcomes of the convening aim to drive sustainable change that will empower and propel the various communities throughout the continent.

The third to fifth days of the convening are dedicated to the main conference. Delegates will hear keynote addresses, plenary discussions and ignite talks while participating in parallel sessions and networking opportunities that will enrich their conference experience.
